A specific Gust Generator has been designed to produce the typical 1-cos discrete gust profile to be used validate the gust alleviation systems. The Gust Generator has been optimized to reach the maximum gust velocity requested by the rest requirements. The adopted configuraiton is based on six vanes actuated by electric linear motors.
