
BeamIn this section we present the numerical results of Code_Aster
solver for a very simple structural test problem, such as the modal and static analysis of a beam.
Problem definition Domain:
 Homogeneous straight beam of length L = 10 m
 Circular crosssection with radius R = 0.15 m and thickness e = 0.03 m
 Material:
 Steel
 Density rho = 7800 kg/m^3
 Young's modulus E = 2.1e11 Pa
 Poisson's coefficient nu = 0.3
 Boundary conditions:
 Simply supported in bending
 Fixed in torsion
 Loads:
 Nodal force F = 2500 N applied in x = L/2
 Nodal torque M = 5000 Nm applied in x = L/2
